07.06.2025 13:32:30 | The final of the 32nd UniCredit Czech Open was a closely contested match, with several key points deciding the outcome. Fourth seed Hugo Dellien of Bolivia defeated fifth seed Chun Hsin Tseng of Taiwan 63, 64.
The first set was decided by a single break in the eighth game, and the same happened in the second set. Dellien took advantage of several mistakes Tseng made on his serve and remained flawless on his own, which earned him the title.
"It was a wonderful week for me. I felt in good shape from the first day, and it improved with every match I played. I had respect for my opponent before the final. He didn't lose a single set on his way to the final in Prostėjov. Still, I believed that I could win the title. It was so; it was an even match with a better ending for me," said Dellien.
"I have to congratulate my opponent. He played really well in Prostėjov, not only in the final. I'm a little disappointed that I managed to advance to the final for the second time in a row and lost again. At least I have more motivation. We'll see each other next year, and maybe this time it will work out and I'll get my hands on the trophy," said the runner-up.
