Černošek: Organising the Unicredit Czech Open Is a Year-Round Effort

NHL matches, the Euroleague basketball finals, and the Golden Spike athletics meeting, to name a few. The UniCredit Czech Open tennis tournament is a labour of love for the renowned sports manager and promoter.

"I am a proud native of Prostějov, and the tournament is the flagship event for our company. Organising such an event requires a year-round effort, even though it may not seem like it. To secure funding for such an event is not easy. We are doing well, partly thanks to the credit we have established over the years," says the head of the organising club TK Plus. "We tried to get the best line-up for this year's tournament, and the matches showed that we succeeded. We will start preparing for next year's tournament almost immediately after the final, and I believe we will see a Czech player in the final," says Černošek.
