05.06.2023 14:11:12 | The UniCredit Czech Open qualification round saw six Czech players. Two of them, Michael Vrbensky and Hynek Barton, advanced to the second round. The latter received a wild card for the qualification tournament. This 19-year-old player from Sparta in Prague is the only one to advance to the main draw at the UniCredit Czech Open.
In the first round of qualification Barton ousted Roc Batalla of Spain and in the final round he defeated Sakamoto of Brazil. Barton's club teammate Michael Vrbensky did not make the last step into the main draw as he lost to the top seeded Hungarian Mate Valkusz in three sets.
