04.06.2018 11:49:31 | MONETAs entry to the world of tournaments can be seen everywhere in the Prostėjov tennis facility. After a long time, the Prostėjov Challenger changed the titular partner and MONETA Money Bank entered the tennis scene. The largest tournament in the Czech Republic will bear the title MONETA Czech Open for at least the next three years.
“The three-year contract is a very positive news for the tournament,” said Miroslav Černošek, the CEO of the organising agency TK Plus, who was not caught unawares by the former partner UniCredit Bank’s decision to discontinue the cooperation. “Such things just happen. There were some changes in the management and, consequently, in the company’s policy. Our former partner withdrew from the soccer Champions’ League, golf and tennis. We resolved the situation and found a new banking house to be our titular partner which is very a prestigious position.“
What does Petra Černošková, who has been the tournament director for the twentieth time, think about the situation? “Financial backing is crucial for events of such importance. We also managed to arrange it this year even though the long-term titular partner quit. Thanks to the Czech Tennis Association, the largest Czech tournament will be played under the title: MONETA Czech Open. We will do our best to satisfy MONETA’s management. I have a team of hard-working people around me who all know very well what they have to do. They really do a great job. I’m sure it will be a great tournament.“
