03.06.2016 19:47:22 | The Centre Court saw the doubles final on Friday. The Belarus-Slovak pair Alexander Bury and Igor Zelenay defeated the Chileans Peralta, Podlipnik-Castillo 6:4, 6:4 and won the title in Prostìjov. “We haven’t lost a single set in the entire tournament and, therefore, we deserve the title. We played great tennis all week,“ said Igor Zelenay of Slovakia on behalf of the champions. “It was hard today. We played on the Centre Court for the first time and it was completely different from the other courts. It’s much faster due to the roof and the combination of light and shade made the situation even harder. The match was very close, there were great changes on both sides. Personally, I’m really glad we finally won the title after the last year’s appearance in the final.“
Igor Zelenay used to play for junior teams of TK AGROFERT at his time, which fact makes it even more interesting for him. “It’s really fantastic to win in Prostìjov. I’ve got many friends here and it feels like I won at home. I like the home-like atmosphere. I’m really glad we won, especially after we lost in the final last year. I hope I’ll be able to come back and defend the title next year.”
