01.06.2016 09:37:34 | The AGROFERT Arena’s Centre Court offers an attractive programme featuring Czech players again: four Czechs will appear in matches to reach the quarter-finals from 11.00 a.m. The first match will see Dominik Kellovský against No. 4 seed Inigo Cervantes (69th ATP). Kellovský entered the tournament as a wildcard and surprisingly ousted Alexander Kudrjavcev of Russia in the first round. The second match will see Adam Pavlásek (132nd ATP) vs. Rogerio Dutra Silva of Brazil (85th ATP). The Czech has bad head-to-head statistics 0-2 against him.
Pavlásek lost to the Brazilian 2-6, 2-6 in the quarter-final at the Challenger in Tampere 2014. A year later, he succumbed to him again 6:7(4), 4:6 in the semi-final at Sparta Prague Open. In the third match, the defending champion Jiří Veselý will face the wildcard Janko Tipsarevič. They have never met, but Veselý believes he will show a much better performance than against the lucky loser Jankovič of Serbia in the first round. The clash between Lukáš Rosol and Ymer of Sweden will close today's programme on the Centre Court. They have equal head-to-head stats 2:2, but Ymer won the last two matches.
