"It's every Tournament Director's dream to have two Czech players in the finals. And that's what happened to us. Even though we weren't, at the beginning, really sure we'd bring the tournament to a successful end. The weather has been extremely bad this year. However, we've managed everything well at the end. I'd like to thank to Mirek Cernosek who came with the idea to build a court with a retractable roof here, as well as to all my team who've really worked hard this year."
I don't have a favorite in the match of Radek Stepanek and Jiri Vesely today. However, I think the tournament has satisfied all expectations. The Challenger attracted great players who showed wonderful performance. I would also like to express my appreciation to the audience. Despite the weather, it has always been crowded. It's proved that our idea to hold the tournament for Czech players was right. It was them who attracted the audience that came to support them. Now, I can already say that I'm absolutely satisfied. I would also like to thank to the Czech Tennis Association since we've cooperated for a long time and it wouldn't have been possible without their support."
