08.06.2013 11:34:05 | Before the exhibition of Moya vs. Novák and the final match of the 20th UniCredit Czech Open, a press conference was held with Jiri Kunert, General Manager of UniCredit Bank CR, Petra Langrova, Tournament Director, Ivo Kaderka, President of Czech Tennis Association, and Miroslav Cernosek, Executive of TK PLUS. How did Jiri Kunert evaluate the local tournament which he has visited for the seventeenth time? “The twentieth anniversary tournament has been a celebration of tennis. I think everything worked very well. The weather has bothered us a little this week, but we still managed to play all matches on the roofed Centre Court. Everything was perfect. In my opinion, the finals, which I wished very much, are like from out of this world and we’re gonna see wonderful tennis. Like I said in the opening press conference, I’m really glad that it’s primarily Czech players that appear here. It’s very important for the Czech tennis. And the fact that Stepanek and Vesely have made it to the finals is great and I’m really looking forward to the match. I haven’t decided who to support yet.“
And how was UniCredit Bank presented at the tournament? “From the perspective of a titular sponsor, the tournament has satisfied all our expectations. We’ve had many clients here, we held our own tennis tournament as well as golf tournament in Kaskady Golf Club. Again, everything went well to their satisfaction. I had a chance to speak to many clients. Most of them came to me themselves and talked about the entire program with appreciation. It’s my pleasure to say that this tournament has been very beneficial for our bank even in terms of PR and marketing. The standing of UniCredit Bank in the Czech Republic has improved by great deal in the recent years and the local tournament has significantly contributed to it. I’d like to thank to all the team who take good care of the challenger in Prostejov. I also have to express my thanks to Mirek Černošek for his care of the tournament and of Czech tennis in general. Last but not least, special thanks go to Petra Langrova who has been in charge of the tournament for the fifteenth time.“
