07.06.2013 18:12:50 | Even though Peter Gojowczyk believed he would advance to the finals, Jiri Vesely strongly disagreed. Gojowczyk of Germany fell in the semifinals: “I’m very disappointed now. I didn’t feel very fit after yesterday. I was a little tired, my legs hurt. I lost the first set easily but I managed to come back to the match. I almost thought it would be the end and I would go home, but I managed to pull through. I leveled up to 5:5 and eventually brought the match to a victorious end. In the third set, I didn’t have much energy left, in particular for the shots. It was overall one big disaster. The serve didn’t help much and the opponent skillfully used the opportunity. Now, it’s very bitter for me because I’ve only gained a half of the points. However, I still consider my appearance in the tournament very successful. I managed to beat strong opponents here and, generally speaking, I’m satisfied.“
