Rosol together with Mateusz Kowalczyk are facing the first-seeded couple: Nicholas Monroe (USA) and Simon Stadler (GER). The Friday program starts with a match of Radek Stepanek vs. Teymuraz Gabashvili of Russia. Then, the Central Court will host Jiri Vesely and Peter Gojowczyk. The Czech tennis has a chance of Czech finals of the 20th anniversary UniCredit Czech Open.
The first Czech finals were played in 2001 in which Jiri Novak clashed with Bohdan Ulihrach. The second time, it was three years later in 2004 when Radek Stepanek faced Michal Tabara, and the third time in 2010 when the final match saw Jan Hajek playing Radek Stepanek. In each case, the hosting Prostejov Club had their representatives in the finals!
