06.06.2013 16:05:00 | Jiri Vesely continues his victorious run! After defeating Garcia-Lopez of Spain and Jack Sock, a talented American, even Lukas Rosol, 36th player in ATP ranking, could not stop him today. How did Lukas Rosol evaluate the match with Rosol? "It's been a very even and hard match today. We both have a good serve and that's why it was only details that decided the match: who converts a break ball and who doesn't. Lukas played better in the third set ending as which time I became a little nervous. However, I could rely on my serve and leveled up to 6:6. I served good in the tie-break. I scored three aces which was extremely important. Lukas was under pressure to hold his serve and I played quite well at the end of the tie-break."
And in what condition did Jiri Vesely play the quarterfinals? "As for my physical condition, it's great. I think the coaches do a great job and I'm in a great physical condition. Match endings are decided by both physical and mental condition which was proved by the victories in the last matches. I'm psychically more resistant thanks to a cooperation with a sports psychologist. We've cooperated for over a year and we've done a great deal of work. If a player wants to achieve anything, he needs to stay calm till the last ball. I tried very hard and didn't think about who's playing on the other side, but I rather concentrated to serve well. If I can do that, I can win."
