Lojda was winning 2:0, 4:2, and he even had two set balls at the score of 5:4! "The first set was very up and down. Dusan started very well and I was too half-hearted. I think that he played the first set very well and I'm glad that I managed the set ending because he had two set balls. It wasn't an easy match," Lukas Rosol said.
"Having a lower ranking, Dusan wanted to show the best of himself. At least, that was my own experience in earlier times. That's why I'm really grateful for winning in two sets. Contrary to yesterday, I got used to the conditions of the local roofed hall. True, I was more satisfied with my playing today; however, it was the set endings that were decisive and I managed them well in both sets. I knew from my coach that the opponent's set endings were rather poor. I knew I had to last out till the end and that the opportunity would eventually come. It really did come and I took advantage of it."
