The first transferred from TK AGROFERT to Prague’s Sparta last year, and the latter is still wearing the local Club’s outfit. Jan Hajek, a three-time champion of UniCredit Czech Open, is clashing Radek Stepanek on the Center Court at 11.00 a.m. today. Stepanek has won the title in Prostejov three times and is longing for another one. He has an unfavorable balance with Hajek since he had to scratch the final match of UniCredit Czech Open 2010 at 0:6 for health problems. It was the only match they have so far played agaist earch other.
At that time, Radek Stepanek was returning to the tour after lingering health problems. The second semifinals will feature Jerzy Janowicz of Poland (152nd ATP ranking) who defeated Marek Semjan of Slovakia, the winner over Verdasco, and the favored Florian Mayer of Germany (35th ATP ranking).
After the singles semifinals, the doubles finals will take place on the Center Court featuring Ebelthite, Peers (both AUS) – C. Hsieh, H. Lee (TWN).
