In the quarter final Stepanek fought hard with Italian Andreas Seppi and although he made a few mistakes finally won 7:5, 6:4. “In the third game of the first set I lost three advantages to take the lead 3:0 and thus allowed Seppi to get back to the game. Every successful game was a hard job for me ever since. These mistakes cost me a lot power and I have to avoid them. Fortunately I was lucky in the end.”
