"It is not my first time in Prostejov and I like the environment here very much. All the facilities are convenient and I really feel like at home. As far as my goal at UniCredit Czech Open is concerned, of course, the goal is always only one – final victory, but one has to be realistic. My second game was better than the first one so I hope to deliver even better performance in next much and see how far I can get. And Kazakh Davis Cup team? It was a historical success to defeat the Czech Republic this March. Czechs are one of the top teams and they may have underestimated us. But we fought with heart and Kazakh sport society appreciated our success very much. Now there is Argentina ahead. We play outside again and the support of audience will belong to the home team. But we have nothing to lose; we will play as best as we can. The match will be very interesting and the better team will win in the end. Anyway, I think there is promising future awaiting Kazakh tennis. The government support for tennis and other sport is immense in last three or four years, there are big sport-centres constructed and foreign specialists invited, it is a great opportunity for young Kazakh generation. I am happy our success motivates these young people for sports.”
