04.06.2010 16:16:47 | It was a lucky choice when Radek Stepanek chose UniCredit Czech Open to return back onto the tour. He beat Kazakh Golubev in the semi-final of the Prostejov’s challenger 6:3, 6:2 and got promoted into the final.
"I was more aggressive than my opponent from the very beginning. I felt I was better at the net and I tried to play as short exchanges as possible because I knew that if I gave Golubev more space he would have been non-compromising. I think I kept control over the development of the whole match and played much faster. I am doing well in Prostejov so far and I am very happy about it," said Stepanek after the semi-final duel.
