Did you expect to get promoted into the semi-final?
"I am not very surprised, I go to every match with full blast and my performance at Rolland Garros gave signals about my good shape and I believed I could get quite far here."
You play very well. Where did you learn to play?
"I was born and lived in Russia until I was fifteen and I learnt to play there first. Then I moved to Italy where I have been living until now and where I try to develop my tennis talents."
Are you satisfied with the level of tournament services here in Prostejov?
"What is good is that the hotel is close to the courts and you don’t need to travel long distances. On the other hand there is not much to see here, but anyway, we came to play tennis and I am generally satisfied here."
