03.06.2010 12:31:06 | The defending champion, Jan Hajek, easily advanced into the semi-finals of UniCredit Czech Open when he defeated Spaniard Ramos-Vinolas who demonstrated feeble resistance in the quarter-final match.
"I knew I had to push hard on him from the very beginning to make him upset and lose motivation. I had a good entrance into the match and took the lead 4:1 quite quickly. Then the Spaniard changed his style of the game, started playing high lifts and it took me one or two games to get used to it. Fortunately I managed to win the first set and in the second one it was an easy sailing as he seemed to have given up and showed no resistance. It was not a nice game to look at but what is important is the victory and the promotion. Now I am going to train a little bit to get ready for next match tomorrow."
