The party was, as usual, rich with various cultural events including a concert by a popular group Krystof and an appearance of a famous singer Victor Sodoma. Very successful was a fashion show of Steilmann Company. Charity cheques were also presented.
Many celebrities of political and sports life as well as show business participated in the party. The cheques were presented by Anna Kournikova, Jaromir Jagr or Martin Straka. “Every year we want to introduce former tennis stars, famous sportsmen and offer attractive programme that people can enjoy,” says Mr. Cernosek. Golf tournament that Anna Kournikova started attracted huge interests too, the same as the following exhibition. The stars that visited Prostejov during UniCredit Czech Open in the past include: Lendl, Courier, Lewis, and this continued in the tradition.
