01.06.2009 12:34:54 | On the second playing day of the UniCredit Czech Open the qualification matches are coming to end and the matches of the first round are just about to start.
Already two players qualified for the main tournament, namely Jan Mináø who defeated the Spanish player Santos 3:6, 6:3, 6:1 and Jan Hájek who won over Jaroslav Pospíšil 6:1, 6:3. Hájek, the winner of the Prostìjov Tournament in 2006 and recent champion from the Ostrava tournament Prosperita Open, had a simpler job than in the first round match against Robin Vikov. Jan Mináø decided about his promotion with an easy victory in the third set and will accompany his brother Ivo Mináø who is the sixteenth seeded. The first round matches start at 1.00 p.m.
