“It may have seemed as “piece of cake” finals but I had to fight hard for each game, mainly in the second set I had to struggle indeed. It is far from pleasant to battle a friend; this was our first mutual duel. For Argentina it was a great success to have two players in the finals as tennis is a sport No. 2 after football in our country. I liked it here in Prostejov, and if it is possible, I will come again next year to defend the title.”
